Just out of curiosity, have you tested the battery terminals? I've seen them coming loose ...

Definitely will because it WILL leave me stranded at some point. Crap like this doesn't just go away. A buddy of mine is a BMW tech and has all the toys to locate the issue, I plan on getting with him this week.
