Not all people who do that are show offs. I am of the type that would ship my cars anywhere if I were there long enough. I live in Miami, the closest thing to a windy road is the highway off ramp by downtown. So I would be the first to send my car to Europe, or Calfornia. I don't do it to show off, I do it to enjoy my car everywhere I go. I don't even pay the $10-$50 to park up front. I will spend the extra 5 minutes and find a meter. I agree it's pathetic to ship your car to London, to park in front of Harrod's just to show off, and drive around town in that traffic. But I would start there at my friends house, and take a month or 2 and drive through Europe to South of Italy. I would also send it to California for the same reasons.

 

Baller's parking isn't always just to show off. Sometimes you pay extra to park upfront so you don't have to valet it. Bad things happen when you let valet people touch your car.

 

This is true. I just go to a garage, find a meter, or don't take a really nice car out. Although rarely I get frustrated and pay up. Rarely though.

 

They are there to show off, it's very simple. I'm not going to go into it too much but many of them are totally disrespectful.

 

Cool pics, I tried to find a RS2 a few years ago but gave up shortly after... I did almost buy a Coupe Quattro with full RS2 aero kit but decided not to.
