Best Garage Lift for Car Storage & DIY Work?

Hey all,

I’m planning some upgrades to my garage and considering installing a car lift for storage and occasional DIY work on my vehicles. I’ve seen lifts like two-post, four-post, and scissor types, but I’m unsure which works best in a home garage setup with limited ceiling height.

Safety, ease of use, and maintenance are my top priorities. Has anyone here installed a lift in their personal garage?

Which type and brand would you recommend, and are there any installation tips or space considerations I should keep in mind?
