Hye everyone, this is my first official post in teamspeed. Because I did not find an introductory place I will do it here. My name is Anton and like a litbod people gere I am vert passionate about cars. Here I will introduce the fleet we have at home. It is nowhere near as spectacular as some others on this forum, it might be not special at all to some of you and quite boring. But me and my family enjoy having these cars and I believe that that is what it's all about. I think that you should get the cars you like yourself, instead of getting a car of which your neighbour says wow!

I will start by telling you that I am a very big Mercedes guy. We have 3 mercs and 1 BMW. The reason why our cars don't have massive V8 engines, is that our country is a very tax heavy country and on our roads with our traffic you can almost never use the power you have. So, lets get started now shall we?

Okay, I'm back and ready to upload some photos. I hope nobody had high expectations

Let me start with the BMW. It is A 116D Sportshatch. Now if you are wondering why we chose this small enginge,here is why. This car is driven daily by my mother, and it has enough power for her. She used to have a C250 which is really too much power for her PICT0401 | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

The second vehicle in the fleet is a Mercedes-Benz E class estate.
This is the daily driver of my father and also the car we use when do a road trip Lovely car, superb comfort. Ideal for making longer trips.

This other classic Mercedes used to be my dad's DD, he loved it so much he wanted to keep it. Car was built in 1987.

Not really thinking of getting rid of the BMW yet. Or maybe it should be replaced by the new A class.

 

Oh yeah, took the latest addition for a ride. Lot of restauration to be done, but already replaced the gearshifter with a brand new one. Will add photos later.

 

My brother just told me the news; the black W124 is probably going to be traded in for another classic Mercedes, but a more special one
