Two doors down from my Maintenance Man Cave, we began the Metallurgy Lab build today. First room is a microscope room so the chemical guy can move his work in there while we finish the rest of the room with cabinets and fume hood.

Once again, cabinets wait patiently in the warehouse.


Acid base cabinets for fume hood. One will be changed out for flammable storage.


Start of microscope lab. Awaiting sink and resin top.

Should be a lot more updates next week. Awaiting plumber and electrician to finish the microscope lab and then we'll finish setting everything else. Went ahead and sat this group at the end of the day.

Sink and faucet are being installed in fume hood today. Backsplashes are being finished off. Fume hood should be set early next week and we can wrap up this build as well.

 

We're almost there! The Microscope Lab is done.





Section A for Metallurgy is complete and all cabinet sinks are operational.







Section B1 in use. Side splash that's missing will be installed today.

Fume hood set in place yesterday and ductwork is being installed today along with plumbing for sink inside fume hood. Just gotta run power to the fume hood (tomorrow) and this room will be done!

Fume hood ductwork is complete. A little polishing by my installers to clean up silicone joints.
