Maintenance Man Cave Build with Lista
#32
Sorry for the delay in updates. We've had some changes to the mezzanine and are reinforcing it for loading up top. New components should be in soon and more updates will come.
In the meantime, I'll start another thread for the lab build starting next week!
Also, some other Lista promo news coming as soon as I can get it on my site! More free shipping!

Some updates. We had materials arrive for reinforcing the mezz, but the trucking company decided to damage every piece. Gotta love dealing with freight. In awaiting that resolution, we've come up with another design to reinforce the mezz that will make installation less painful.
So, we moved some more stuff into the room today.
Starrett mobile bench with solid granite top that weighs almost 1400 lbs!

8' long mobile workbench. I call it "the beast". Rolls like a charm though.

Are you ready for some updates? Grab your coffee and take a seat.
Mezzanine reinforcement is complete. Added some joists to reinforce for future loading on the mezzanine.

Butcher block workbenches create an area for PC's, phones, chargers, etc.

Time to start placing overhead cabinets. Tell me that's not some tight clearance! I say it's maximum use of available space!

Large butcher block island and all overhead cabinets are in place.

Drawers fully extend allowing access to the whole drawer. Both drawers are fully extended.

Roll out trays are able to hold 440 lbs each and extend so you can reach everything in the rear.

A layout change by the client forced us to stack some of the overhead cabinets upstairs. Handles will be mounted so the team members won't have to lean down to open the bottom door.

Finishing touches are being completed today and this maintenance man cave will be complete!

Added BB top for them upstairs today. Project has also been getting some press. I was featured as a success story and subsequently the project became a case study. Very honored.
