Nokia E71 Review

The Nokia E71 is a highly innovative device which boosts to its luxury appeal and loaded with technological advancements that any techno savvy user could enjoy without compromising the looks. Before 2-3 years ago the most advanced mobile phones are mostly the ugly ones and I assure you that the latest offering from Nokia will look outstanding in your eyes when you get to see one. I traded in my 1 year old E90 Nokia communicator for this one due to its size, width and better battery. Stand by mode is an impressive 410hours and the talktime is around 5 hours which is great for people who travel alot or on the move.

Why get a large phone when you can get a 3.2mega pixel camera, wifi and bluetooth in a size of a calculator that is as slim as a card holder. I highly recommend this phone for any one who is in the market of changing his or hers mobile. Basically it has the features of the e90 in a smaller package, not forgetting that it looks much better as well.

In addition the phone also has a GPS system and many other features that are useful, since I just purchased it today there are many things that I havent discovered. I am very satisfied with it for its reasonable $570 price tag which is much lower than the E90 a year ago and the Nokia 8800 Arte.

The phone is not quiet large as you see in the photos, that's due to my photography, the large picture size and zoom.

I picked this phone over the Apple I-Phone for its:

1)Qwerty keyboard
2)High performance battery life and fast processor
3)Easy to use Symbian 60 and nokia menu
4)It is shorter and slightly slimmer
5) Weights only 131gms
6) Available and the Iphone 3g is not here
7) Arabic menu, buttons and installed as well
8) Looks very Executive

Its quiet thin but wide which is a good thing when your texting or going on line for typing down websites, browsing or writing notes.

Looks good, I had the e51 and loved the look and feel, even the lack of qwerty keypad, the one problem I couldnt get over was it took 8 button presses to reply to a txt msg.

Thats OS (S60) based, so I might not be able to fly with the e71/e66(slider) still.

Great looking phone albeit.
