Wtf happened to my pass code

The other day I got a notification that said my pass code expired. And after changing it to a new one I don't get the option to turn it off or turn off the option For erase all data after six attempts anyone else get this? Please help.

My guess is that you have been hacked. Off to your local Apple dealer...or call them...from your home phone.
