Thats what I have :-) Great, reliable camera. Good luck with it :-)
Did you buy it new? used?
Now all you need is couple accesories:
- biggest battery possible
- wide angle lens adapter (Canon WD-58 is a good start)
- maybe few filters (UV and Polarizer - won't work with Wide Angle though)
BH is your friend :-))))

wish i had the funds for a tape to tape editor, they go for like 3 G's.

Why would you need tape-to-tape editor? Unless you mean one of those fancy miniDV vcr's. They're good for high volume work, but you can do it cheaper with any miniDV camcorders. I.e. I bought new Sony miniDV cam for $150 (with top loading mechanism) and I abuse it as a tape deck ;-)
Remember - try to minimize head use on the camcorder. Also once a year give it to service for cleaning - it's a $150 job but keeps it rolling :-)
What do I shoot? lol... I shoot ppl and cars. Anyone needs a bullet hole? lol

yea, after i posted that, Im like oh yea g gore, haha. im must be dreamin tv. LOL
do i send it to sony ? It was used, but looks great, actually i have an issue sometimes, seems like one of the CCDs goes out, so the screen flcikers pink, like an RGB thing. but it only happens when shes cold, after it warms up, it doesnt do it at all. kinda like my old 87 monte carlo. 305 ran like a champ.

since it's used then don't bother with Sony. Send it to Mack Camera in Union, NJ (http://www.mackcam.com/). It might take two or three weeks to get it done but they'll give you estimate before any work is performed. Never had issues with them and my equipment.

they must be Sony Authorized, so there will be no issues with complicated problems. Mack is Sony (and many other brands) authorized.
