Question for all the Windows/PC/Exchange/Outlook gurus....

I suspect this is a very easy fix. I have my exchange account setup on my iphone. At work, my outlook account fetches email from two separate addresses. When I log off from work my iphone only receives emails from one of the two accounts. I have a filter setup for the second account so all of those messages go into a separate folder. I do have my settings on my iphone to fetch email from that folder as well however for some reason or another it does not retrieve those messages unless I have my PC logged on and Outlook open. Someone help me and you will forever be my hero.

Are you using a third party app to sync? If so, which one, since that is probably where your issue is.

Are you using ActiveSync with iOS4?
If so: How To Set Up Multiple Exchange ActiveSync Accounts in iPhone iOS 4 – @SFoskett – Stephen Foskett, Pack Rat

How is the email that you don't get when logged off configured on your iphone?

I don't have an iphone, but have set them up to sync with our Exchange server without issue.

I just using the Apple mail app on the iPhone. On my desktop, using Outlook, I've got two different work email addresses that go to the main "inbox" folder. One is filtered into a sub folder while the primary address messages are received on my iphone without problem regardless of whether or not my work PC is logged on or off. It's the secondary address, using the subfolder, that does not seem to pull down the messages properly. I only get those messages if my PC is logged on and Outlook is open. I have the iPhone set to draw on the sub folder in the mail app settings but it won't do so properly.
