I'm going to play through the single player, then come back to multiplayer.

I have been playing multiplayer all day today and I have to be honest, but I think MW2 is still way better. There are a lot of good things I like about this one, but for me they have made the same mistake that was made with Black Opps....every map is just a run and gun fest, there are no spots that are defendable if you are sniping. I've probably played about 5-6 hours today and almost everytime I shoot someone, there is just someone around the corner, or coming out of a building, or whatever that just kills me.

I'm not that great at this game I'll admit that, but on MW2 I would have a few good games, maybe 1 or 2 out of every 5 matches, but with this one it has just been frustrating to play so far.

 

Last night I was having issues connecting to matches with a party but it seems that the servers have warmed up and are ready to support this flood of people (at least for PSN). All the new maps seem pretty fresh, and I really like the new game mode "Defender." M4A1 seems a little overpowered, as does the UMP45. Overall loving this successor!
