SoCal is an unknown quantity at this point
Never heard of that company, but how bad can it be for $240?

I don't have a manual watch, but I imagine part of the fun is winding it up before using it.

If you had a manual watch, you would more than likely be winding it before you wore it since there are very few (and uber expensive) mechanical watch winders. These are for automatic watches that wind by motion.

I only have 2 so I find it a hassle to not be able to throw the watch on. My question is whether to go 2 for now or get a 4 unit. Also whether battery or AC. I don't have a safe for them so AC is ok and changing batteries is a hassle, but it is clear look

In all seriousness the reason you shouldn't buy edgelit LED t.v's is because in a EdgeLit TV all of the LEDs are along the edges whereas a full array Back- lit TV has LED all over and not just on the Edge. I've looked into this quite extensively when I was buying a new TV (a few months ago) and read a ton of articles on the subject. After reading a few reviews of LCD sets, the drawback with edge lit sets is poorer viewing angle. Blacks become grayish, whites become grayish and the only major advantage is that they are thinner than regular LCD / Backlit LED screens.
