Make sure that it has both remotes.

Denon user here too. Just replaced my 3806 with a 4311CI. Also have a 3306 and a 2806. All have been flawless.

Do you Denon guys have any trouble with the HDMI switching?

I tend to have a few issues with that.

I have a Denon AVR 2808CI. I concur good stuff also audiogon is A+ most guys into AV are a good group
to deal with forum wise.

Nope. I have two Denons, a 3806 in the media room, and a 2308 (?) downstairs. Both do fine switching sources. It takes a couple of seconds to sync up, but other than that, it's just fine.

Also, the microphone that comes with it for the room calibration. Without that, you can't measure your room, and Audyssey is deaf.
