I'm kinda surprised nobody else seems to play the career / single player mode. Don't get me wrong, I love the online stuff too...but how is that the only mode you play?

 

I am not a huge R class racer so racing online in the lower classes makes things much more competitive. That is basically why I refrain from the career mode.

 

Well I just spent the last hour trying to beat HolusBolus (Im assuming SamWise) over on Silverstone Time Attack - Exige vs Esprit - Ended up with my time of 1.00.264 vs. HolusBolus of 1.00.223. AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! I need a break.

 

Career mode was great until they stopped handing out cars.

Other than that, IMO, it serves no real purpose. You get bigger jackpots, money and EXP, in multiplayer racing.

I believe one of the first TS races we did, myself, Bonita, All We'll Drive, and LJG did Peugeot LMP cars on Le Mans for three laps. We all had at least level 4 affinity and Peugeot and took home at least 200k in credits.

 

I just tried to get that one back and seems like your exige is packing a little more punch. I did 10 laps and gave up. Will try again later. I did get a few of the top spots back in the time trials section
