Grado SR80s.

I finally had my first pair shipped to me over the weekend.
My first impressions are great in terms of sound quality, but I understand why some of the reviewers claim they are a bit uncomfortable though. Nothing I can't manage with, just not as comfortable as a pair of Bose/Sennheiser for example.

Personally, I love the looks too.
Any other Grado owners on TS?

Hey Esthetique, I've got some too (SR325i's). 11 days since your post and no one else. Maybe it's a Canada thing I was gonna get the SR2's, really torn up about it at the time, especially in a listening comparo, but the price and the limited amount I figured I'd use the phones as opposed to the big speakers, well, I decided the 325's were just fine. Now in retrospect, the 325's were probably overkill!!

They're truly awesome. LOVE the Grado sound!! Oh, and the foam pads get more comfy with use.

If you're into 'phones, try out some IEM's (mine are from Ultimate Ears) for your iPod. If you can get comfy on them, they'll blow you away.

I have a set of Grados, they look goofy but sound great! Make sure you burn them in, they will sound even better!

I was pretty ancy to get using them, so I didn't burn them in correctly/fully. To top it off, my iPod died today, so there was another purchase that I had to make this afternoon. And, yeah, I have noticed that they are definitely getting comfier as I wear them more.
