You def. have to know what to do at times. If your with a bad group you wont get very far at all.

My strategy can easily get us to level 30+... It's just even when your people say that they know and understand the strategy/rules, it always ends up being a dick measuring match between my teammates that kills us all. They all want the most kills/money, and wont sacrifice their stats/points for the better of the team. I had a guy go down probably over 20 times within 17 rounds yesterday... that is just not acceptable.

Quote: I haven't had time to play any games for a few months and have no idea about black ops and decided to buy it. All i can guess from the title of this thread is that it's obv. a new version of COD.

Can someone give me some cliffs on it?
It's based during the 1960s (literally the entire 1960s). Your perspective is from a Black Ops (get it?) operative that is in a bad situation (you'll see). It's a bunch of missions based on flashbacks from his career. There are a couple of other missions and stuff, but primarily you play this covert ops guy.

Multiplayer is much the same as all other CODs with different weapons, etc. You'll figure it out quickly from your familiarity with MW2.

It's a great story - DEFINITELY listen carefully to the dialogue, especially as you get near the end.

When I'm back on COD, I'll let you know. I know how teamwork works and I have a mic.

I'm not gonna go into TOO much detail, because it seems like every time I do it, things don't go exactly as planned [playing with strangers], but this is the jest of it.

Basically you stay in the lobby until Round 5. After Round 5, you head through the bottom left door. You work your way to the stage. Once you get to the stage, you wait til everyone has enough money to buy juggernog. Turn the power on and find the mystery box [if you haven't already]. Create a crawler, and head through the stage room up to the Lobby where you started. From there you go up the staircase and to the right, and you defend that room for as long as you can. Do not open up anymore doors unless it is a dire emergency. You make sure one person guards the back window, one person focus's on the ceiling, and two focus on the hallway. You also have the trap there to use in case it gets to crazy. Try to save a crawler each round and then run around the level, board up windows, and teleport to pack-a-punch machine to upgrade your weapons. Afterwards everyone head back to that same room on the upper right, kill the crawler, and repeat.

Just got to level 22. Would have made it farther but I had the Ray Gun, everyone else had LMG's. I ran out of ammo, and unfortunately their LMG's couldn't handle the heat. I died with something like 537 kills or so. Second best on my team was like 200 kills.

I'm down to do some zombies with you guys I've managed lvl 24 on both maps, but I've got some ideas on how to get in the thirties. I really like the teamwork part you run during those games. It's tons of fun!
