Post Finally - BlackBerry Curve 8330 launching on Verizon in May

"After seeing it kicked around the Net for a few months, it's good to see the BlackBerry Curve 8330 finally go live on Verizon Wireless. Well, almost -- you'll have to wait until May to lay thumb to QWERTY while riding that cool EV-DO wave of data. It'll cost you $270 after a $50 mail-in rebate and two-year contract with further discounts available when signing up for eligible voice and data plans. Your cash will be rewarded with the wee 4.2 x 2.4 x 0.6-inches / 4-ounces curve sporting a 320 x 240 pixel display, 2-megapixel camera, media player, stereo Bluetooth audio, microSD / SDHC expansion, and 260 minutes talk / 11 days standby. Unfortunately, it's missing WiFi."

Came out yesterday, I picked it up today, coming from a Moto Q this phone destroys it in every category, literaly. $289.99 but if you are the primary line it is $169.99 or $269.99 for new customers.

EDIT: They just lowered the price by $20.

So who wants to buy my Q?

It has a cam, is shorter, and lighter, but lacks a SIM and is slightly thicker.

The sales rep told me they were discontinuing the world edit. (they didn't even have it on display) although they said they could order it in red. I figured I would rather pay $30 less and get a phone with a cam (which I will never use) in person instead of a phone with SIM card (which I will def never use) and have to wait for delivery. My Q was having a lot of problems.

The phone was supposed to be in stores on the 12th (9th online) but they got the go ahead to release it early because of all the customer service (611) orders. I actually bought the first one from the store I was at (one in Buffalo).
