The machine on my desk at work is 8 core Nehalem, 128Gb RAM, 2x Nvidia Quadro FX5800 and Serial Attached SCSI hard disk.

I use it mostly for Outlook, with occasional excel/visio

But, for racing, rFactor is one of the most realistic.

For driving simulators, which this thread is about, Dana's system is far superior. A 980 and two 480s would smoke this. Regardless both systems are overkill for any driving game.
