I've been designing a little setup to hold my steering wheel, chair, and pedals for a while. Now that I have time off I'm going to build it.

I am making the majority of it out of Zebra Wood (my favorite material). The "counter" the wheel sits on will be made out of inch thick, clear plexiglass. I have the Driving Force GT. I want to router a hole out of the plexiglass to have as a cup holder . I will definitely keep you posted

That's pretty creative I must say I like it..you can save so much by mocking up your own setup, plus you can configure it the way you want it to be. I like that cup holder idea..wish I had one of those.. the Driving Force GT is a great wheel, if it wasn't for Fanatec I'd use mine again +1
Cheers!

Sub 1-minute on the Eifel track??!??! Wow... I'm sure it's possible, but your lap will have to be perfect in every corner.

My traction control is set to 1 I believe. I will try turning it off. Why not have some fun.?

I was 4/10th's away with a lap that wasn't perfect. I have a better chance making babies with Halle Berry and Olivia Munn and living harmoniously with both in Rome.

Halle and Olivia would be awesome, but a touch crazy... I did a 1:02.6xx this evening. That's as good as I'm gonna get with the Zonda R. Traction control off will slow you down immensely. So will stability control off... you'll find out on those long sweepers even with full downforce in the rear.
