I was looking over the list of cars and the more I look it over, the more disappointed I am. They forgot so many historically significant street and race cars, and I still can't believe Porsche is non-existent in this game. I want to drive the CGT, damnit!

Same here. I knew Porsche wasn't gonna be there, so whatevs.

But they seriously dropped the ball with the exotics.

I can get 5 sub-versions of the NSX, but not a Ferrari 250GT SWB? Not even a goddam 250GTO? No 599GTO?
Same for Lambo!!! No Islero, no 350GT ... NO DIABLO!!!!
And yet we end with no less than 25, yes 25 *ucking versions of the MX5.
If you're gonna do sub-models make it off interesting cars like the McLaren F1!!!!!!!
40 Skyline sub-versions ... but no Zonda F!
3 Priuses!!!!!!!! 3!!!!!!!! and only one Bugatti, the Veyron.

I'm between disapointment and fuming right now, because I know that soon enough DLC packs with all the decent cars will show up for 4.99$. And no one will buy 25 MX-5 even for 0.99$. On the other hand we'll all pay 24.99$ for a damn 250GTO.

 

Exactly. It's such a damn shame. WTF has the GT5 crew been doing this whole time?!

I'm glad the Veyron is in the game but I'm most surprised by the lack of vintage and even late model Ferraris. I'd love a 250 GTB or GTO, a Daytona, or a 355 just for the sake of doing some cruising in the game! What surprises me the most is the lack of the 599 GTO and the Ferrari XX cars. I figured they would've jumped on that.

It also sucks that the McLaren F1 is a special car that only comes with certain versions of the game. I'm going to pick up Need For Speed next week when the new one comes out. Depending on the cars available in that game, I might not even bother with GT5 anymore.

 

You know they will all be available via DLC for some $$$.

But after such a long wait, it feels like a kick in the gut, Polyphony is just making fun of its fan base.

 

you're surprised that they have 25 versions of the Miata? I sure am not. Also, this is Ferrari's maiden venture in the world of Gran Turismo, maybe they didn't want to gove them all the licenses they wanted. Wait for GT6 (which will be out in the year 2135) that will have all the Ferraris you seek

 

The way it's going I'm not even sure I want GT5 anymore.
