Exactly. I'm not gonna bother doing those endurance races as I'd have to leave the PS3 on for so long. Seems like a waste of energy and time.

I rather enjoyed building a car, and actively playing. Can't see how just setting something on cruise and letting it rip is fun.

It's not fun grinding for credits or experience in GT5 - hence why you run b-spec when you have better things to do elsewhere. It then enables you to enjoy a-spec when you want to have a race as you have millions in the bank and any car you want.
I have completed b-spec and all a-spec apart from the endurance races (which I won't do until they introduce saves). I've even started again on a new profile just for a-spec to win the tickets again. So I have pretty much been there done that on all of GT5.
Now if I want proper fun I go back to taking my Porsche out for a non-simulated drive!

Attempting Grand Valley 300km [Endurance] in a 430 Scud; the best car in the game I think overall.. I absolutely LOVE it. Especially if you partner it with a steering wheel oh my god, it is pure WIN!
It does have a tasteful amount of mods
hehe.
