New season events are apparently up.

They have taken away big prizes/experience points and instead let you grind each event over and over. There is an F1 event too.

Sounds all pointless to me though (other than the F1 event) if you can't earn big money/exp.

I will take a look later myself after work.

 

Damn. That sucks to hear. The seasonal events were the only part of the game I was looking forward to anymore. I have no interest in endurance races and B-Spec bored me to tears. If you can't level up and make big bucks in the Seasonal Races, why bother?

I never understood why GT5 is so stingy when it comes to credits compared to GT4.....I mean, finish a 24 hour endurance race and get 270000 credits or whatever it pays? I don't get it

 

Someone posted on another forum that the total cost of all 1000+ cars is nearly 500 million credits (excluding any tuning). That's a LOT of grinding!!!

 

But you DONT HAVE to buy all 1000 cars. you can jus buy 1000 go-karts from the dealer and thats 5mil. Anyone completed their colored x1 collection yet?

The hp 'restrictions' on the seasonal events are not there - it's only recomendations on hp to make it a competitive race. The only restriction is drive (FF/FR/etc).

I have stopped buying coloured X2010's as I have other priorities first (now down to last 14 +1 million credit cars). I will buy all 20 colours when I am done with that (I have white, red, orange, vettel, prototype thus far).

 

Nice, the only ones I care to have are the orange and carbon. those are very neat. And yes like you said, the hp numbers are just to give you an idea on what type of opponents you will face in those races. anyone want to send me a F1 car? pretty please? lol
