Wait, so it's really that much of a grind to get to level 40? And level 40 is the first time we actually get realistic damage? At this rate (playing one race every few days) GT6 will probably be out before I get there.

 

Also, is there any easy way to get a car for the last Pro race (with actual race-spec cars) other than saving up and buying one? Is a competitive car given as a reward anywhere else?

 

No, damage is there now, u can change it at the beginning of the race from None-Light-Heavy

 

Anyone play online, how you like it? I hear you can be in rooms to in money?

 

And did these xmas cars ever come out? I really want the jag or any old car to beat the historics with. Anyone that copies cars wanna gift me something cool for that?

Seriously, in single player career races? Where do you set this up, I don't see anything under the menu where I choose tires, ABS, etc.

 

^Usually all the way at the bottom, unless its only in special events, practice etc until a certain level?

 

^ I saw damage on my 427 Cobra running a B-spec race at Daytona. The dummy couldn't figure out how to avoid running up the ass of the slower cars he was drafting.

 

You can see damage in A-Spec but it doesn't affect the car and parts don't come flying off or anything. You play around with how damage effects the car in the online races, and I think you can do it with some of the special events too.


I completed the first endurance race last night and jumped up to Lvl 26! The McLaren F1 Stealth made quick work of all the other cars and I won by 10+ laps.
