PS3 Suffering From Global Network Lockdown

Very annoying when you are up for some gaming.

If you google the error message, lots of the links are telling people to send in their PS3s for repair. YIKES.

There is some strong speculation that it was hacked, and Sony's forums are experiencing numerous errors. The only update from Sony has been on their Twitter account, but not on their website. It is being handled rather poorly.

Yes. I have been following it closely as well.

The hacking rumors are flying around.

Every gaming forum in the world is swamped.

Dana, how old is your PS3? Mine is barely 6 months old.

I've not tried to login and play since Saturday.

Some of the "slim" PS3s are still working. But all of the "fat" ones are down.

I have 3 launch PS3s - so they are fat and old - like me!
