That and the horrible PS3 controller.

So Pros with GT
Better graphics than FM3

Cons:
No Porsches
Controller (imho)
Probably not as strong internet gameplay

Am I missing anything?
If its better than FM3, I'm getting a PS3.

Forza 3 has better modification options, a drag even not sure if GT has it with the sedona park track 1/4, 1/8 , 1/2 and a mile.

I much prefer the PS3 controller to the 360 controller. It probably has a lot to do with going back to the original PS controller, but the Xbox controllers always seem too clunky/cluttered.

In theory, yes. But, let's be realistic, Gran Turismo 5 will never be released.

I cannot fathom what is taking so long. Forza has released TWO iterations since GT4 came out.

Agreed. I like the fact that it pretty much hasn't changed since PS1 - I guess I had enough time to make myself comfortable with it.

I do remember first xbox controller, it was so huge and heavy I could hunting bears with that thing.

You guys know there is a demo (with GT5 physics as opposed to Prologue's), and a competition to win tickets to the Indy 500 (or if you live in the EU a chance to win a seat in a Euro GT series lol) on the PSN store right now right?

Also, head tracking, weather, night racing and HD Youtube uploading have all been confirmed.

They just pushed out the US release to Summer/Fall of 2010.

I'm going to be driving my warp powered flying car in Forza 8 before GT 5 comes out.

Seriously, the wait is absurd.

All the naysaying will cease when it comes out. Knowing how Yamauchi thinks, this game will be incredible. If you guys remember, GT4 got pushed back a couple of times and it was mind-blowing when it came out. Even Tommy Bahama put down his TUUNER sock for 5 minutes...
