I have noticed that when you party up with people having roughly the same rank (like yesterday), the opposition's skill and ranking is in relation to yours. At least you can tell the servers are trying reeeal hard to team you up with likemindeds.

Enter a Team Deathmatch game on your own however, and there's everyone and their nephew in there - from 10th prestige hackers with 8 months total play time to level 1 5th rankers.
