I was on for a bit yesterday and played with Chris but I played horrible. Maybe tonight will be a different story.

 

Can someone explain how the score works? I had 22 kills, 4 assists and 4 deaths. That is somehow lower than someone who had 24 kills, 0 assists and 16 deaths.

 

It matters what kind of match you were playing, in games like domination you get 50 points for a kill and in team deathmatch you get 100 points. You were probably playing domination or something where the objective isn't to kill everybody.

 

It means your a camper.

I think it just goes by who has the most kills. It's frustrating because you helped your team (if you were playing team death match) more than the other guy did, but he will be listed higher than you on the score charts because he got more kills.

 

I've come to the realization that my 'skill' hasn't really gotten any better. When I was a lower rank (Enlisted up to about the Rank of Officer) I would average in the upper teens with a 1 to 1 or less then 1 K/D ratio. Now, my rank is getting higher; but I'm dying- a LOT.

My aim sucks. LOL Last night I was playing in 'rundown' and this dude killed me 4X while hiding with a shotgun. Of course, it was b/c I was going after his ass... finally got him with a n00b tube up his buttocks...haha...but it came at a price.

 

Assists are worth only 20% of the score of kills, so your 4 assists are worth less than his 2 extra kills; and that is without taking objective scores into consideration (planting/defusing the bomb etc., in which case you could have two people with the exact k/a/d record, yet who have different scores). Deaths are not factored.

 

I hate those dudes, I've had my fair share of going after campers who just sit in a tough spot and keep killing me. Even if I die multiple times, it still feels so satisfying to get the little creep in the end.
