I'm with you Dave. If there were more weapons, perks, etc. that you could unlock OR if it didn't zero out your weapons, I'd do it. Otherwise, who cares? Let those uber-prestige guys think I'm new or something because I don't have a prestige emblem.

I could see the advantages of having at least one more if not two; but after that point it's just ridiculous.

The prestige is way overatted, it's just for achievement junkies. If you got some new weapons, or perks it might be worth it. Maybe this is something that will be addressed in MW3

I was away for a week and got on last night, it was like I had never played the game before. Sucks I was working my KD up and my accuracy was improving as well.
As far as the Prestige goes, not worth it, wish I didn't do it. Oh well live and learn.
