The Official Forza 3 gamer's thread

The programming of vehicles in Forza is very detailed. With the XBOX steering wheel and pedals, and a proper setup, you can 'feel' a lot of the cars. Older 911s have lift-throttle oversteer, AWD cars understeer, you can feel the push/pull of the front tires giving in the force feedback of the wheel, etc. Pedal modulation and small steering corrections are very difficult and downright annoying with the regular controller. With this type of setup you can turn off all assists (although I keep ABS on because it is hard to modulate a little brake pedal with no sensation). I don't know how else you can easily simulate trying out a bunch of cars. I have virtually driven a 458 around Laguna Seca, a DB9R around Road Atlanta, my own version of a G-Power M6 down the Mulsanne Straight, etc. The possibilities are endless!!!
I set this up in a spare bedroom and still have to tie down the cables. The seat is manufactured by playseats.com and I can PM you a link as to where I bought it. The seat/frame/mounts are very nice, very sturdy, and you can thrash on them. With proper surround sound, volume up, you will almost be in the car.

The Scuderia is so fun! It revs so fast and shifts so quickly it almost sounds like a crotch rocket! I hope it becomes available to non-VIP soon!

WTF... You think they would've already released the VIP car pack by now.... Its pissing me off!!! Found a little cheat to get unlimited cash - for those "cheaters" (I am not) Takes most of the fun out of it....
"This trick requires some starting money, a private lobby on Xbox Live, and an online friend.
1. Buy the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28.
2. Buy all engines for that Camaro.
3. Buy every part for every engine, including all aspiration parts.
4. Exit to the main menu to save the engines and parts that were purchased.
5. Enter the engine purchase menu, and sell every engine. Note: Do not leave the engine menu.
6. Press the Xbox Guide button, and join your friend's private lobby.
7. Leave the lobby, then quickly press B to exit to the title screen, with the "Press A to Start" message.
8. Enter the engine purchase menu. You will still own all the previously purchased engines and parts and have the money you got from selling the engines.
9. Repeat steps 5 through 8 as many times as desired to get an unlimited amount of money. "

I wish, I already bought both other car packs and am dying to get the scud and sl among others from the VIP. In the mean time, I will spend 100s of thousands's making ridiculous machines like S Bora, R3 GT2, R2 GTR, R3 M5, 1250hp Veyron and the like
