Brian,

Depending on what you want to do and how high of a video resolution you need/want along with audio, be sure to download the online manual and check out the bandwidth requirement.

For instance, if you want 1024X768 with stereo audio, you better have a T1 at home, or anything that's syncrhonous and with guaranteed consistent upload bandwidth, anything short of that it is just going to frustrate you.

This is also why most video surveillance available for online access via HTTP usually defaults to 320X240 and mono audio.

But if you got the bandwidth, man it's a beautiful thing to behold and control.
