The Final Word
Apart from looking cool and being smaller, there's absolutely no reason to trade in your original PSP for a PSP go. Hell, if you don't own a PSP, I'd still recommend getting a PSP-3000. The added expensive of the PSP go (for both the hardware and software), paired with the other major issues I've listed above, make it a total mystery why Sony would even think consumers would rush out for this product. It offers nothing new for their platform, and ends up putting more hurdles than the last model.

I dont have a PS3, but was thinking about a regular PSP for a trip I am taking at the end of the month, and just for travelling in general.
Thanks Tractor, I'll have to see how much a used 3000 is.

I'll prob get one before I leave for HI. Smaller screen with the same res (= sharper display). Bluetooth is awesome because you can use wireless headsets and even use your PS3 controller. The best feature is that you can now pause games from the system menu so you can go online or even turn off the system all together and then resume. Great for travel.
The build qual is way better than the 3000 and the screen on the Go doesn't interlace like the one on the 3000 (which was awful).
If you're not into going all digital then get a 2000 because you can throw custom firmware on it, although it's only a matter of time before the Go is hacked.
Edit: There is 15% off and free 2day shipping codes for Dell, plus Dell has 15% cashback from Bing. So you can get one for 30% off + free shipping.
Oh, and if you live in the EU, Gran Turismo is free if you get the system by 10/10.
