The United States armed involvement in World War II was more swift than the time that has elapsed since the release of the last real Gran Turismo game. The Manhattan Project even took less time. You could lay keel and complete a Nimitz class aircraft carrier a year sooner.
Given all of the accomplishments that can be made within the span of time that Polyphony has been jerking everyone off with the release of GT5, I expect the following to be in this game:
-Boat racing with at least 200 models to choose from.
-Airplane racing with every plane ever made.
-Motorcycle racing, all of them.
-Olympic running. I want to race Usain Bolt against one of the 37 different models of Honda Preludes that will be in this game.
-Horse racing, along with the ability to modify the horse by shooting it up with a medley of different drugs.
-Greyhound racing
-Cock fighting
-Bowling
-Olympic diving
-Badminton
-Shooting pool
-Darts
-Poker
-Multiplayer Ookie Cookie
Apparently, Nascar racing will be included in the new GT5 release, so I think it is only fitting that Monster Trucks be included as well. I can't wait to drive over a Scuderia with Grave Digger, and then go back to my simulated mobile home and beat my cyber wife.
I heard that instead of there being 52 different models of the Honda Civic in this game, that there will be indeed 53.
Supposedly, after you complete the challenges for the Super License, it unlocks Vin Diesel and a special edition black Honda Civic with neons under it. You will then be able to race on a special track that requires you to drive underneath tractor trailers.
So, I'd say we have quite a release coming up. Forza 3 will only be limited to a huge cache of cars with dozens of extras to download as the game evolves. It will also have realistic physics, and almost infinite ways to customize your vehicles. Quite boring, if you ask me.
I'm glad my PS3 plays Blu-Rays, because even the new Slim is too cumbersome to use as a paperweight.

I think it will suck like every other game they've made since the first two.
