Decided to start a new venture doing porn seeing as I go to an east coast beach school known for amazing girls and I already have offers from 8 10/10 girls to do it for practically free.
Looking for HD Video Camera's with microphone inputs for under $2k, I'm gonna have to buy 3 of these so that about the max I want to spend.
Also for any of you a/v pro's suggestions for the following are greatly appreciated:
Editing Software/Equipment (preferably work with mac's as thats all I have, but can run Parallels or Bootcamp if needed)
Microphones
Other misc stuff I might need
This will be an ongoing ad-venture over the next 6 - 8 months so I'll keep you guys updated with pics of the girls etc.

Nope, completely serious. Trying to do this with as small initial investment as I can get away with as a side business. 100+ video's of 18-21 year old 10/10 beach girls is worth some money.
There is plenty of HD cams in sub-$2k range. Just dig around B&H website. You might need to buy additional XLR mixer for each come to be able to connect semi-pro mics to those cams. Beachtek is your friend here. Then Shure has some cheap but good mics under $200. Software wise - try the Final Cut Express first and see if it's enough. It's only $200. If not then full Final Cut Studio will cost you $1300. On top of it you'll need more accessories which will add to the cost but you do need them for higher video quality. You'll need basic light setup - 3x500Watt lights. Then you also need wide angle lens for those cameras - $200 each (at least). Then you need extended length batteries - $100 each. And finally you need tapes... One gig might take anywhere from 6 tapes and more. To make it complete you'll need cases for all that equipment - starting from $40 a piece for each camera. You're looking at $8000-10000 just to start. Remember that you'll also need at least 2-3 ppl to run it all.
Basically look around for entry-level wedding video packages :-) Porn and weddings are the same kind of jobs. Just one of them is more interesting :-)
