Wow...that 17" MBP with the high resolution screen looks pretty amazing.

Why didn't they give the MB the multi-touch pad?

Just as a side note, if you haven't already done so, go to a store and lift up the Mac Air....it truly is VERY light.
I might get one as my couch and work laptop...very cool.

I'm pretty unimpressed and let down. I wanted a redesign, maybe a little thinner and sleekness of the MBA. Guess I may just wait for college to pick up a laptop.

I have been waiting for this update for months and this is all they could muster up? No wonder the stock is at 120, Apple has really been dropping the ball since the announcement of the iPhone.

Is it worth returning my recently purchased macbook black? I am super pissed today. Is it worth me paying the 165 restocking fee and returning it, i have until tomorrow to do so...

Can i get amex to refund that restocking fee?

If you purchased it within the last 21 days, Apple will upgrade it for free I believe.

I just called - they said i have to pay a 10% restocking fee. This is BS, right now i feel like pulling a SteveH.

The fact that i got SLAMMED on my CRDN stock and this has put me in an awful mood.

Well i'm filing a claim with AMEX, they said i am within my rights under my cards protection program to file one, hopefully they'll pay the re-stocking fee.
