The Emilia 599XX EVO
Ferrari 599 XX EVO presented to Ben Sloss, Google Vice President
You all remember the big earthquake that hit Italy in May 2012. The region Emilia where Ferrari's factories and suppliers are located have suffered the most. In response, Ferrari created a charity auction for the victims in Emilia and the centerpiece was a new 599XX EVO built specifically for the auction. Well. Here is the car. The presentation was made after the end of Saturday's F1 qualify season at Monza. Montezemolo and Alonso and Massa presented the car with the new owner.
The 599 XX EVO was purchased for 1.4 million Euro by Benjamin Sloss, Vice President of Engineering for Google, seen in the images below recieving the keys from Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, Chairman of Ferrari, and drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa, after the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix in Monza. Proceeds from the charity auction are said to total more than 1.8 million Euros.
It is really a masterpiece. Enjoy!
