Interesting variations in the front cowl finish....note the front wheel well finish...black in some, naked kevlar/black in others....there is the same variation in either euro or usa cars.

 

F40 is so ridiculous! You guy's know what's up, Carrera GT, Strad and F40 (even GT3/RS and GT2 thrown in) and it's the most perfect stable!

Back in the day, when drivers got out and helped to push...thats Jean Alesi pushing the F40LM back into the tent at Laguna Seca 1990. In the second pic, the interested driver in the foreground is Hurley Haywood !

He obviously like what he saw, because while Haywood went on to win that day in an Audi Quattro, he drove the next year for Ferrari and piloted the F40 LM to 4 top 4 finishes (but no firsts)....I met Mr Haywood at a concours in 2004 when he brought a number of cars from the Brumos collection to the Keeneland Concours....seeing him fire up the 935 was a sight and sound I will never forget....hell of a nice guy too !
