Just googled it...and it seems to be a warning light controlled by the car's ECU. It gets on when the catalytic converter is too hot.

Low mile cars like this scare me a bit... They aren't made to sit. Of course, if you aren't going to drive it, it doesn't really matter. If you're going to drive it, I'd be more wary of this than a well serviced 10,000mi car personally...
