World's first Twin Turbo Enzo.

World's first Twin Turbo Enzo.
I want this.
From: Daily Derbi
A few days ago we reported about the annual “sacrament of speed” that is Speed Week and how one of the world’s first (if not only) Twin Turbo Ferrari Enzos would be making a run at the record. Well, here are the first “unofficial” photos of said Ferrari, found only on the DailyDerbi (of course).
As you can see from the images, this car and its owner are serious about running on the salt. Skinny tires run flush with the body work and a re-worked, more high-speed aero friendly nose has been added. The car was dyno’d over the weekend and reportedly put down a respectable 850 horsepower at low boost (11-12lbs). It is believed by weeks end, the boost will be up as high as 18-20lbs, putting it into the 1000hp club.
The car is currently on its way out to the Flats to participate in the last few days of Speed Week. We can only speculate what kind of MPH’s this beast will achieve, but by Friday we will all know. We wish our fellow Utah Ferrari fan good luck on his maximum velocity endeavor and of course we’ll keep you posted!
Update-
We just got word from our source explaining the pictured radical nose in more detail. What you see here is actually a carbon fiber nose-over kit developed by a fluid dynamics engineer. The engineer found that the stock Enzo body would become aerodynamically unstable at the nose of the car at speeds above 225mph. This carbon fiber nose-over kit was developed to help maintain the Enzo’s stability at speeds approaching 300mph. We’ll keep our “nose” to the grindstone (lame joke) with further updates!
