Nice F50 in NYC FS
#11
both the 40 and 50 were (were, used to be, past tense ownership) my cars. sold them a few weeks ago; sold about 7 cars all to one player in the City. I sort of rid myself of all the road cars which i have or wouldnt track. not to say they wouldnt make amazing track cars, but i have some others i plan on tracking and vintage racing this coming year.
for the record, both are excellent machines. excellent. the f50 is virtually flawless ,cosmetically and mechanically. the f40 has the classique, just got a full engine out servicing, tires, cats, etc.
zero financial or other interest in them at all...but they are terrific examples.
if anyone gets actually interested in owning them, and wants more info on them, their history, PM me and we'll hook up.

Frankly, I thought the f40 was a far more nasty machine than the f50. without turbos, the f50 is pretty docile getting up to speed. at speed, she tears up the road.
but the f40 is more a buckin' bronco than her younger sibling.
brakes are far stronger, cockpit more roomy, seats more appropriate in the 50 than the 40.
if i had to chose one to keep, one to sell, with great respect to the rarity of the f50, id be rocking a 40 all day and on sunday.
