Fun read, Enzo owner at 23

This is an old article. Not to sound bitter, but everything that the guy has comes from his dad, including the Ferraris. There's not much to talk about here. This would be interesting if they guy had actually made it on his own.

As we pulled the cover off of the Enzo, it was obvious that the car was just recently driven. With layers of dirt, which you'd commonly find on your daily driver, we had to remind ourselves, that this indeed was a daily driver--and also one of just 399 rare specimens.

Human nature... Whether he inherited or not, who cares? He is enjoying life. What is wrong with that? Do we gloat at Prince William or Harry, because they are royalty? The cards just played out like that for them, so I don't see the difference here... IF that was the case.
I personally don't care whether people inherit their money. Doesn't change my thinking of them one bit. BUT, if someone goes around trying to act like they're entirely self-made, owning multiple enzos at a young age, diamond bracelets/watches, etc when in fact they've never worked a day in their life, that's just sad and not something to be celebrated. Respectfully that's just my opinion.

Nothing at all, I was just curious. We're the same age; he's driving around in an enzo and I'm still in college
. As you said, it doesn't matter really, 1 inherited dollar is just as much worth as 1 earned dollar. Maybe not to you as a person, but to the brokers and dealers it is....

I just don't understand the negativity towards anything inherited. Even if his father did sponsor him the money to start off. He made something of it and isn't spending the time on his rear end spending it. Take a look at Donald Trump. If I recall correctly - it was his father who introduced him to the right people (with their own financial backing to help) to kickstart his career and business? Look what he has made of it today.
I think it's great for young people to do as well as some of them are, just a reminder that age is merely just a number.

I understand where you're coming from. I can also see the fathers point of view. If I was in a position to make my childrens' lives more forfulling - I would do it in a heartbeat. They must obviously appreciate it and take it with humility.
