Amazing pic - Enzo, F50, F40 and 288 GTO parked together

Seeing that picture reminds me of Evo issue 64 from Feb 2004. The great Ferrari comparison test. They compared all 4 of these cars in an amazingly written 22 page article. In that issue they also drove the incredible 288 GTO Evoluzione with the boost cranked up to something like 700hp in a full 6 page write up.
Evo has put out many incredible issues, but this one stands out as the best one IMHO.

We didn't go yesterday and missed this. I saw the guy who organized the meet putting it together on F-Chat for weeks. But I have a bit of a rant about the way they displayed these cars.

Jox hit the nail on the head with his prior comment about the cars being roped off. They look like the Four Holy Ferraris or like the Liberty Bell or something.
Now I wasn't there so I may be wrong, but it looks like access to the cars was restrictred. Why were they roped off from the crowd? The whole purpose of having a car "meet" as opposed to a car "show" is to allow people to get up close and personal with the cars. I can go to a car show or a dealership and see these cars roped off. The charm of a car meet like Cars & Coffee is the chance to see real cars on the street. When they are cordoned off down a loading ramp, the purpose of the car meet is defeated.
And before people start screaming about the value of these cars, I have seen these cars and more out for everyone and anyone to get as close as they want.
For example:
This guy didn't see fit to rope his car off:

Same with this guy:

Or this guy:

No Michael Jackson-esque fear of the public here:

Same easy access here as well:

Here too:

No ropes here either:

Car meets are as much about the people as they are about the cars. If you don't want the public too close, then don't show up.
I just think that when the "meets" become more like a "museum" there is really no reason to go any more. This would have never happened at the old Crystal Cove meets.
I hope this does not become a trend.
Great cars though.

I respect these guys for bringing these cars all together. I am done complaining.

well at one point the access was restricted i don't know why,
maybe for the pictures without all the people near the car making it hard to picture those cars together...
but later on people were all over the place to take a closer look at the cars.
the doors were open engine bay open and all that.
