hello, just got a call from a friend in geneva inviting me to next thursday evening's unvailing of the... he says... 599fxx? just googled it... no response. anybody else heard of this?
i find this so hard to believe...

Let me doubt that. I was told that Ferrari will launch special package for 599 GTB, something like they offered on HGTC package they offered on 612 Scaglietti. More interesting news is that very special 599 GTO is going to be released this year. Seems that Ferrari is going the way of launching "special" editions of V12 F-cars to boost sales and not to allow huge drop in profit.

In a different thread i read that the 599GTO could infact bear the name of something along the lines of FXX. So chances are the 599FXX and the 599GTO are the same car which is a track spec'ed invite only car if I had to guess....

Yup, I think DJ posted the info on this car a few weeks back. The front is supposed to resemble the Scud, supposedly. Power will stay the same but serious suspension tweaks are in the works.
