FERRARI F12BERLINETTA WINS THE 2012 AUTO BILD DESIGN AWARD

Readers in 21 countries of one of Europe's most prestigious car magazines, Auto Bild, have voted the Ferrari F12berlinetta as Europe's best-looking car. The fastest, most powerful Ferrari of all time raced ahead of its 144 competitors to take the overall Auto Bild Design Award as well as its category, a compelling statement on the design of Ferrari's new V12-engined sports car.

Designed by the Ferrari Styling Centre in collaboration with Pininfarina, the F12berlinetta strikes a perfect balance between maximum aerodynamic efficiency and the elegant proportions typical of Ferrari's front-engined V12 cars. Since its launch, the car - deliveries of which are due to start in Europe before the end of the year - has been the object of universal acclaim from the press and public alike.

It must be rigged

 

Unfortunately I am loosing the surprise factor but the last time this hapened to me was when i saw the first BMW M3 E46, then Ferrari F360 Modena and now this F12 Berlinetta. I want it / I need it.

 

The F12 is beautiful. I can't wait to see one in person.

 

Front is nice but I can't get over the back.

 

I think this is hideous.

 

Front end is by far the worst part of the car. It amazes me that, even after all the flak the FF got, they still went with that stupid f'ckin grill.

 

^ what about those scallops? I don't care how they work or what they do aerodynamically.

 

I loved the F12 from the first picture of it I saw. The only thing I am not really fond of is the "cell phone" in the rear bumper.

 

Also not too fond of the front bumper and the hideous rear. Maybe it will grow on me more.
