The car is really growing on me. It's looking better sounding better. I would still pick the 458 spider if push came to shove.

Cool vid. I feel the same way about the Cali. I don't much like the looks of it at all when stock, but with a few mods (like the Novitec and ADV.1 "Man-Cali") they can look awesome.

That said, I'd pick a Maserati Grancabrio over it.

Why the GranCabrio? It's slower, heavier, not as fun to drive, not that much comfier, and the rear seats are just barely more practical.

I really enjoyed this video and I'd have a hard time picking anything better than a Cali for it unless I had a 599 Aperta or a 575 SuperAmerica (with a manual trans, of course).

When I sat in both I found the Maser to be considerably more comfortable (specifically, better seats and more legroom -- I'm 6'3"). I think it's much, much better looking, I also think it sounds better and I don't believe the slow/heavier thing would bother me so much as it's far from a track/balls-out driving kind of car. For open top cruising, it would fit the bill nicely.

And at about $70,000 less, I think it's a much better value.

I normally don't like yellow cars but this 458 sipider is insane.
