I don't know that anyone is debating whether or not the car is awesome. I am not. However GTO's have historically been homologation specials, or purpose built race cars from the ground up (to a sanctioning body's regulations) for the streets. 250 (39 built) was for LeMans, 288 (282ish built) for FIA Group B. Personally would've liked to have seen them stick to that for the GTO name.

 

GTO has been called a street legal 599XX many times. And nobody is calling the 599XX a tuned 599

 

What will happen to the GTO is what happened to the Murcielago SV when the Aventador came out. The Aventador is a better car but the SV will always be special as will the GTO.

I've noticed that there are some differences between large teaser and the small. In the small teaser you can see a front spliter. In the big teaser you can see something of the rear of the car. So I have thought of combining them and this is the result. They match perfectly.

Guys who was invited to private presentation said that front part is not so much similar to FF (like is presented on that render).
