Ferrari FF Test Drive

Now I did drive the FF when I was down at the factory in September but the factory guy kept freaking out every time I got to 100mph.

So had another go in the car yesterday in London. Now everyone has their own view about the design of the car. One thing I can say is that black looked a lot better than the silver one which they showed us at the factory event last February and the red one I drove, but personally I’m still not totally convinced.

However coming to the car itself – its really fast for what is a massive car. By that I mean its clearly slower than the 458 (especially when accelerating from 50 to 80) but it certainly feels much faster than my California. There was something about the standard modes which I didn’t like but with the sport and CT modes the feel was very good and I thought the gear change was actually faster than the 458.

Visibility is certainly fine, even for city driving. The car feels very roomy on the inside and the back seats are certainly usable and not just for under 10s like the Cali.

All in all I was quite impressed with the drive. Many thanks to James and the other at HRO/Ferrari London

Thank you for the pictures , Black looks great and I agree with you in darker shades its more elegant and better looking.

I've seen it in 3 shades so far, Bianco , Grigio Silverstone and Rosso Fuoco and I can say that Grigio Silverstone is the best colour so far. Your pictures make me really miss London, I love Hyde Park.

Anyone think the car would seem more appropriate without the Scuderia Sheilds on the sides, I think its a bit too much.

Black always hides the lines of a car, hence the reason why some people appreciate black more than other colors.

Great thread, always great posts Trax

Wow, that interior looks comfortable!
Cool Ferrari, although I would "choose" a 599.
