Seems unnecessary to me. How many special editions do companies need to make these days?
At least with the 250's of the 60's each different kind had it's own distinct purpose, but all these different 599 flavors seem a little repetitive to me.

well its a succesful way of using the ramaining chassis and engines and also making an extra profit before the new car is presented
