Vorsteiner 599-VX First Light Debut Party

Tonight my son and I were lucky enough to attend the debut of Vorsteiner's entry into the world of Ferrari tuning - the 599-VX.

The base car is a Ferrari 599-GTB that has been given the works by Vorsteiner and its strategic partners.

The event was very classy and fun. As the pictures below will show, they had many great cars on hand. They also provided drinks, good food and great company.

I am sure that opinions will vary on the car - especially among Ferrari purists. But one thing is not in doubt: Voresteiner was a tremendous host.

I want to thank DJ for setting us up with this opportunity. It was a wonderful event.

First, here is a video of the unveiling. And yes - that is me disrupting the awkward silence. Andreas is a long-time friend of mine.

Here I am brimming with excitement on the way there.



The event was held at the Vorsteiner showroom in Costa Mesa. It was a festive and fun night.



That's my son Paul owning everyone at some video game. They banned him from playing.



When we first got there, the 599-VX was still under wraps. Vorsteiner put a standard 599-GTB next to it for comparison.



So we went to look at the other cars they had on display. They weren't too shabby.







I chose these two - the best of both worlds!



Then my long-time friend Andreas Hartman of Vorsteiner introduced the car and its unique custom features.

Of particular note are the body work - which includes a new functional rear spoiler - and the BBI Autosport custom exhaust.

Vorsteiner also debuted a new forged wheel with the car.



Then Andreas turned the mic over to BBI Autosport's Betim Berisha. He talked about the custom exhaust that had to be fully redone in order to make the diffuser functional.

With him is his partnerat at BBI - Joey. Betim and Joey are a good friends as well.



Then it was time to unveil the car. And she is a beauty!

Great read and very nice pics! It looks good but I'm not sure about the rear-end, nevertheless good job Vorsteiner!

 

Thanks, What are the specs? 700BHP?

 

^ You know, I managed to get out of there without even asking any questions about the performance numbers.

A lot of respect goes out to Vorsteiner for stepping up their game. There are some aspects that do work, others not sooo much.
