car will be ready 8-10 july. the paint job is taking the longest time. then i will take my baby to st tropez for a spin!

I'm driving down to Monaco/St Tropez in my Aston at the end of July/August, hope I get to spot you driving this out somewhere - it sounds like it will be seriously awesome!

 

soooooooooooo.... i have been silent for a while, because the car had some delays. the paint apparently was the main issue. so the car is coming my way mid next week, here are some more updated pix. only the assembly is left.
the color looks stunning! the black stripe on the hood ant the roof are matte black and the skirt is naked CF. the only thing missing is the arches. now, there is 1 more element i missed out on, which is side "wings" like on the 599xx which are to be installed ont the arches. now dont say it is ugly and "mansory tasteless crap" because first of all they are exactly like on the 599xx hence design wise are no different, and secondly i kinda asked for them myself... basically i am in love with the 599xx look. honestly, somehow people are way more tolerant towards individuals doing crazy stuff to their porsches (like xxxl rear spoilers and whatever).
i tend to think without the "wings" the car would look more pure, and the wings make little difference "visual impact" wise, what do you think?
and i can say for sure this adds some downforce so they are also functional.
