tx guys! i am really fond of my car! everyone i have spoken so to far are completely blown away, be it valet boys or supercar owners. bugatti feels much less special next to this car imho! 
actually i could not have been happier with the result! just wow! if i could i would park this car in my bedroom. in person this car looks sublime, and at night the colour has this subtle glow which makes it look really color rich (hope you understand what i mean). perfect car/color combo. not sure this color would suit a lambo or even a 458. i saw pix of a matte 458 and was not impressed.

I have to agree with you the 458 looks cheesy in matte(overdone).
I didnt like the matte finish on the 458, the design of the car doesn't look great. The F430 looks better in matte and I personally matte looks best on large cars like murcielago,599, Carrera GT.
The 599 might look great cause it has a long bonnet, the 458 is small car. A nice gloss colour or metallic would look better such as the likes of nero daytona, TDF Blue, Rosso Fuoco.
Lets say you get a 458 and keep it for 5-7 years and you get it in matte black which you will get bored of extremely quickly compared to nero daytona.
